Biographical/Historical:     Ray C. Osborne was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on September 7, 1933.  After finishing his education, he served in the U.S. Army.  In 1964, Osborne was elected to the Florida House of Representatives.  Osborne resigned his House seat in 1968, to run for a post on the Public Service Commission.  Governor Claude Kirk appointed Osborne to the recreated post of Lieutenant Governor on January 7, 1969.
Summary:     The series contains the subject files of Lt. Governor Osborne from 1969 to 1970.  The series contains correspondence, activity files, speeches, photographs, memorandum, and some personal files.
